MacLeod Reckord provided planning, design, environmental, and construction administrative services to complete three segments of the regional Sound to Olympics Trail located in the SR 305 corridor. The project includes selection of an alignment for a shared use path and identification of connections or branch trails to the surrounding residential, business, and civic venues in the community; design of the north/south shared use path with east/west connections to a conceptual level; engaging the public to build consensus for a preferred alignment; and final design documentation, environmental documentation, permit application support, and construction support for the segment from Winslow Way to High School Road.
The project has federal funding, is located in the WSDOT right-of-way and requires coordination with Local Programs, business leaders, and adjacent property owners impacted by the project.
