Downtown Park Northeast Gateway Construction

Construction for the Northeast Gateway project is well underway at the City of Bellevue’s Downtown Park. This new entrance at the northeast corner of the park will act as a gateway from the park to the burgeoning downtown as well as becoming the first phase and vital part of the City’s Grand Connection initiative that weaves its way through downtown Bellevue from Meydenbauer Bay Park. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2021 and will feature new plaza space, a vertical waterfall, public art by THEVERYMANY, and new amenities including seating, benches, planting and lighting. The space is envisioned as a place to gather, relax, and provide a prominent entrance into the larger park from downtown.
